Jacob joined Soma Capital in 2022 as the finance and operations manager. Prior to joining Soma Capital, Jacob was an investment operations manager with SAX Capital (a RIA with +$1b AUM). At SAX, Jacob helped managed day-to-day operations of the fund and lead and coordinated valuations and fund audits for over 200 special purpose vehicles that facilitated secondary and crypto transactions in the venture capital space. Before SAX, Jacob was an operations manager at Osceola Capital Management, a lower-middle-market private equity group where he was responsible for overseeing the fund administrators accounting and reporting responsibilities, fund valuations, audit and tax preparation work, and vendor relationships.

Jacob graduated from the University of South Florida with a MBA and a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in finance. Outside of work, Jacob loves to spend time with his wife and four adopted children and continue to passionately serve and advocate for abandoned and neglected children in the foster care system.
