Mir joined Soma Capital in 2020 and focuses on growth-stage investments. Prior to joining Soma Capital, Mir worked at Iconiq Capital's Growth Investing Team a premier late-stage tech VC with investments including Datadog, Zoom, Robinhood, Uber, Airbnb, Snowflake, and Chime, amongst others.

Before Iconiq, Mir worked as a management consultant at Altman Vilandrie a TMT-focused boutique where he worked on 15+ commercial due diligences on mega-fund buyout deals, primarily focused on B2B SaaS, cloud & telecom infrastructure and consumer media.

Mir has also co-founded a non-profit EdTech startup a platform connecting high school students from developing countries with college students / recently graduated mentors for dedicated guidance.

Mir graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics from Dartmouth College, where he was a research assistant for multiple professors at the Tuck School of Business. Outside of academics, he was a member of the club swimming team, his fraternity, and senior society.
