Alex focuses on incubating product and technical diligence at Soma. Previously Alex has developed software at NASA, IBM, and Apple as well as several startups, including a quant fund acquired by Digital Currency Group. Most recently, Alex was the founder of Solipay, a Soma portfolio company building a data privacy neobank for consumers. Deeptech, Fintech, and SaaS are exciting investment verticals for Alex. Alex graduated with a bachelors and masters in Computer Science from Columbia University and enjoys golf, poker, and painting.
